The
heart of any GigaSat flyaway system is one of our highly acclaimed
FA-series flyaway antennas but these are complemented by our in house
product capability, which includes modems and modulators, video/audio
encoders, up and down converters, SSPA’s, BUC’s, controllers,
redundancy switches and monitoring kits.
These are packaged in
GigaSat carbon fiber, weatherproof and shock mounted flight cases,
which match the construction of the antenna and are designed to offer
absolute protection for the equipment whilst adding minimum overall
weight to the system.
All GigaSat flyaway systems are designed from the outset with IATA and health and safety recommendations in mind.
Our
most compact solutions travel in cases which each weigh less than the
latest airline regulatory limit of 32kgs for checked baggage, whilst
even our largest systems weigh typically less than 50kgs per case.
