GigaSat offers a comprehensive bespoke and turnkey design and build service for any vehicle with a satellite uplink requirement.
We
take care of all aspects of the conversion, including sourcing the
donor vehicle, selection of and installation of the power generation
system, with associated mains distribution and lighting, air
conditioning, installation of all baseband equipment either supplied by
GigaSat or free issued plus ancillary items such as pneumatic masts and
jacking systems.
Typical applications include satellite
newsgathering and outside broadcasting, radio reporting, IP
connectivity, emergency and overflow cellular/GSM base stations, mobile
VSAT and semi military tactical support vehicles.
Our conversion
experience ranges from the smallest MPV/SUV based vehicles with minimal
baseband equipment or even rack ready vehicles with only the uplink
equipment installed prior to delivery, right up to large multiple
camera OB trucks.
We pride ourselves in building to the very
highest standards using lightweight aluminium and composite materials
wherever possible to avoid excessively disturbing the natural balance
and driving characteristics of the donor vehicle.
